In our community.
We’re not just beans people—we’re people people, too. In fact, it’s our friends and guests who have made Beans & Brews possible all these years. Which is why we love being a part of this community and supporting it. Get involved in the Beans family— stop by often, follow our stories (and promos!) on social media, and let us know however we can help your school, charity, or team!
Beans is committed to giving back to the community that has supported us for the past 29 years. Our company mission includes “supporting the neighborhoods and communities in which we live and do business”, so we’ve made it a point to donate extensively to local organizations that matter to our Beans community. The only thing that makes us smile even more than serving you a piping-hot brew: helping a cause you believe in. We’ve donated to organizations big and small—from Primary Children’s Hospital to the Odyssey House, the Lymphoma Society to the Humane Society, Equality Utah, Ballet West, and many, many others. And we’re not done yet.
In 2022 we launched a non-profit giving program we call Brew Good. Our “Brew Good” program is something we’re truly proud of, enlisting our entire community to help us brew good in the world. Throughout the year, we make $10,000 donations to local charities and we get our team and the Beans community involved in the process. For each donation, we choose a different category so there’s a little something for everyone: Animals, Mental Health (Taylor Hagen Foundation), and the Environment. Check out all of the amazing charities we have donated to so far below!
We picked four local animal shelters and highlighted them through our social media by hosting takeovers. Each organization took over our Instagram for the day and posted their day to day operation, allowing our followers to learn more and see how each organization worked! We ended the campaign with a $10,000 donation split between the four organizations so all our fuzzy friends received some Brew Good love!
For mental health awareness month we partnered with our long-time friends the Taylor Hagen Memorial Foundation to help them on their mission of bringing more attention to mental health awareness and teen suicide in Utah. We ran a competition on our social media for our followers to show how they “Brew Good Mental Health” by sharing what helps them take care of their mental health. We ended the campaign with a $10,000 donation to the Taylor Hagen Memorial Foundation.
We partnered with the local non-profit organization Tree Utah to plant trees in our community. Employee volunteers planted 8 trees at Vista Park in Taylorsville, and the Beans & Brews $10K Brew Good donation helped plant 30 trees in total!
To show our appreciation, B&B donated $100,000 in gift cards at the beginning of the school year 2022 to Utah public elementary school teachers. Brewing a little good for those who do good with our littles!
